TUTORIAL 6 The Code-Free GUI

PyICe comes with code-free GUI for debugging and experimentation. While conducting detailed measurements from within the GUI is possible, it is strongly discouraged as the test procedure will not be well documented, or replayable, as it would be with scripting.

On the other hand, for demonstrating basic behavior, experimenting or debugging, the GUI can be an invaluable tool and will come in handy often.

In this tutorial, rather than sweeping the voltage and collecting data for curves, a GUI is created which can be used to control the instruments. The GUI has many powerful features such as reading, writing, incrementing, logging, filtering, categories etc.
